  Solar panel government scam...we are doomed global warming Armagedon!!

  we got solar panels after the promise it will slash our bills 70% turns out that was true 6 years ago when my uncle got it the government was paying people for solar power.

  well i just got a letter telling me they slashed the rebate again to 9 cents which means my $5000 investment in solar will take 6 years just to get my money back!

  what a scam my uncles older contract means he pays no power bills for the last 10 years while the new deal screws us totally!

  A six year recovery is far better than let's say just 10 or15 years ago it would take 20 years to recover your cost. In the U.S. one of the biggest problems is our power grid it is very antiqueted and needs to be totally rebuilt. For those who can't afford solar one of the biggest things you can do is have proper insulation in your attic, craw space or basement floors and seal all air leaks around doors and windows. It's amazing how much energy you will save. Living in a old farm house built in 1899 I know. Also I learned in old houses like mine insulating the walls without taking all the old interior walls out first and then put in a proper vapor barrier needs to be done. If you don't you will risk moisture problems which will cause mold problems in the wall. If you do go through all that trouble to insulate the walls it will take almost 12 years to recoop your investment. If you go to foam insulation it even more. Good luck with your solar panels on your house. Still Totally ADD

  16 years ago dateline's report on jw's and child abuse was aired may 28, 2002, a tuesday night and tonight a&e aired on may 29, 2018, tuesday night!.

  i can't help but think how barbara has tirelessly worked to expose the child abuse issue within the watchtower/jw.org and is still working to not only expose the problem but to help change the laws in the usa to help protect children.

  she has a wealth of information gathered for over 20 years on how the governing body protects the pedophile and not help the victims .

  It was done very well. To see Barbara and Joe on this topic was very reassuring for me. I must admit watching the show last night brought up a lot of feelings of anger in me. I was sick to my stomach after the show was over. It took me hours to settle down to I could go to sleep. Remy is a true survivor of sexual abuse. I wish her a long and healthy life.   If it was anything like I saw living down in FL retirees seem to flock to religion knowing they have only a short time left on this Earth.   I feel this site has been a emotional lifeline for many of us. This place has become a daily habit for both my wife and I. Being able to have the freedom to speak your mind after being trap in a cult where that freedom is taken away from you is so freshing to our well being. We may not always agree with one another but that is how normal people act. Thank you Simon for all you have done. Let the healing continue until no more cults like the wt. exist. Still Totally ADD

  years ago at the kh my aunt attended, there was an elder from a prominent jw family who was accused of sexual conduct with several young men in the hall.

  he was an unmarried guy in his 30's who wore a terrible hair piece/toupee.

  his sister once told me he was waiting for the new system to marry so he could have a perfect wife--isn't that funny?.

  Very sad😖😖😞😟😟. Regardless of why this letter was circulated the young man is a victim of another pedophile in this cult. Being survivor of abuse myself I have great concern for those who have not gotten the support they need to survive the trauma they went through from these creeps. My heart goes out to all such victims. We are all worth more than this cult will ever give you credit for. Questioning Everything thank you for bring this out.
